The formation of SESDO was urged by the sad situation

The increasing demand for charcoal is depleting the foresters and trees of the
country.
1.3
Fossil energy emissions are the main reason for man-made climate change
with carbon dioxide CO2
1.4
Agriculture of many areas is being harmed by lack of rain, violent flooding
and desertification, causing severe problems to the food production for the
region and the world population.
1.5
Environmental pollution are effecting the country with their important
habitants, livelihood and in protected wild life resorts have similar negative
effects.
1.6
The reliance on imported fossil fuels causes trade imbalances foreign
exchange shortage, affecting specially the poorer community, hampering
their infrastructure development, provision of food delaying social and
gender well-being.

Oil wars kill innocent inhabitants and unconvinced soldiers, damaging the
environment and wasting billions of hard currency, which are urgently
needed to develop and built sustainable energy systems.
1.8
The methodology of world wide action towards the transition to the “clean
sustainable energy age” is embedded in the “Global energy charter for
sustainable development”, formulated and updated by an interdisciplinary
group of legal, technical, economic and scientific experts SESDO will
cooperate intensively with the complementary ministries of Somaliland
government and international organizations in the region and many local
NGO’s supporting the goals of SESDO.

The motto was is “every one should contribute to his or her country, what he
or she can” , to achieve sustainable development with clean energy systems ,
the rules and regulations of organization were lay down as this constitution
which is and will always be in evolution .
