Excutive Director
7.3.1 The Executive Director is employee
7.3.2 Executive Director is from GA member and hired by BOD
7.3.3 The purpose of ED is to be the leader and the focal point of the
organization’s day-to-day activities
7.3.4 The ED is answerable to BOD and is the head of the management team
The duration of ED contract is one year
The responsibility of the ED are :
Implementing the policies of the organization
Representing SESDO when signing agreement on behalf of SESDO
Nominating and dismissing the heads of departments and projects with
the approval of the BOD
Approving and authorizing the financial day-to-day activities according to
the financial policy
Promoting SESDO to the public and maintaining relations with all
Stakeholders
Coordinating the organization of day-to day activities
Reporting monthly to the BOD on financial and project activities
Signing organizational out-going correspondence
Being responsible and accountable to BOD for implementing projects
attending BOD meeting if BOD allowed
CESSATON OF ED POSITION is by:
Dismissal by BOD majority with the approval of the founder according to the
constitution and policies
7.3.2.2 Death
7.3.2.3 Resignation according to the policies and agreement
7.3.2.4 Health problem unable to do his /her responsibility
7.3.3 in absence of ED , he/she will propose one of management team to BOD TO
be as acting ED
